I live about 10 minutes away from the Tesla factory, so I've known about this car for a couple of years now, and there are at least 2 or 3 around my the area of my neighborhood. Basically, the Tesla Roadster is based on a Lotus Elise.
In all honesty though, i think hydrogen fuel has a better future than battery-powered cars. Oh yeah, Top Gear also did a review on it, if you guys are interested:

You can now bury your head in the sand again, if you don't want to face reality that badly. Your narrow view is a philosophical blind alley already, so that's not really much of a change. Any efficient rational and guided act is an answer to a problem and contains the struggle for it's solution. Everything else is of proportionally lesser value. Quote:

Alright yes the electricity does come from nuclear plants however it can also come from Hydro electricity or windmills or even sunlight! You can pin as much as you want on the fossil fuels there's still other things available to take its place. Either way its way more eco efficient. Your just looking at the whole dilemma everyone focuses on and gets overwhelmed by it, that being fossil fuels. While it may take more time for people to get past fossil fuels the time has come once before with GM, and now again with Telsa motors. For you claiming i have my head in sand your pretty ignorant to the fact to what your saying is what people have been saying for years. Gotta love being with the masses huh? Time to move on
