The name "Legend of the Second" implies that it is a sequel to RO2 and not just a different game.

They've gone back to the basics. They scrapped the new systems; the stupid character bound weapon leveling system, the new classes and skills systems, the new stats system, the dimago/ellr/norman race and etc.

Returning are the card system, pet system, the stats system, the old class system: Swordsman/Knight, Mage/Wizard, Archer/Hunter, Thief, Acolyte/Priest (unfortunately, the merchant class does not return).

RO2 will have some new contents too such as a more balanced dueling/pvp system, living system, weaving and much more. RO2 is no longer a separate game from RO1 but a true sequel.

The current RO2 servers will shut down on August 2nd. The new RO2 Closed Beta testing will begin on August 31st.

So It's not 3D? lol, I'm really confused.

EDIT: So it's 3D, they wouldn't make 3D models of old monsters for nothing. Still the information given is blury; the website isn't as informative, or works well with google chrome.

what made you think it was 2D? i put up the image of the rhoda frog model in my post, but the source has a few more monster models that i didn't include.

ya, I remember playing the 1st closed beta it was a bit of a let down, hopefully they will fix

it's been forever sense i read something new about RO2.

I don't know, the words ''True Sequel'' just poped into my head, and made me think it would've been 2D, I guess it's cleared now. Here's the other monsters you were referring to.

mine too! i never even bothered with RO2 after hearing about how terrible it was. hopefully the new one will be much closer to the original RO.
