Japanese publisher Futabasha has revealed that “Shin Crayon Shin-chan” (New Crayon Shin-chan), a new Crayon Shin-chan manga serial, will premiere in the September issue of Monthly Manga Town magazine that goes on sale August 5th.

hah i never read the manga, but the anime was funny, despite some alterations in the american version.

The original Crayon Shin-chan manga series ended last year after creator Yoshito Usui died in a mountain hiking accident. Usui’s “UY Studio” artists will relaunch the new manga series, crediting the work to “Yoshito Usui & UY Studio.”
