gold selling topics are very commin in the WoW - runescape - maple story (although the mods do an exelent job there)

K, some not very active mods:

Bladin : only 7 posts in total, last locked thread was in early July.

ChimaeraOne: Last posted in Mid June, Last thread locked a few days before this.

Chrono : Dunno why he doesn't seem that active, but last post 25 July (quite a bit ago :S), his last locked thread was early June (unless he and others are locking but not posting, i can't tell :P)

Drag00n : seems like his last post (almost a month after his previous ones), was saying he was having problems, do we know when he will return?

Marineking : seems to have disappeared around the same time as the others, mid July.

Superkenshin : I know he is an active guy, but all his latest posts seem to be in the general section. He looks after quite a few sections, some of which have threads I myself have reported but nothing has happened to them.

Str1der : Same thing applies, seems to be posting in free mmorpg and other general sections a fair bit, but is he locking threads in other sections when they are reported?

There might be more of the same like this.

Btw: this is only my opinion and what I have found out by looking through the forum admin/mod list.

I've modded on like 2 forums and I've created one. I'm extremely new, but also extremely active. I have a few suggestions to help clean up a bit but I mean I really don't want to make a topic about them and I really don't want to PM a mod asking for his opinion because that can be easily shot down by another mod. Also, this is the only forum where mods can only moderate a certain section. Isn't there a way to make it so they're like "super-mods" or something. I think I remember reading something like that on the administrative panel when I made my forum.

We have a Super Mod. FabianN. And 10 posts in the month you joined isn't extremely active.

A lot of sites have a rather clean forum, because of guidelines filters etc.

Its not an automated system, though there is a "mark message as rulebreaking/spam" not many people actually use it, the mods see this stuff and delete it immediatly. I would really like it if mods started taking their job as a moderator of ONRPG seriously, instead of posting topics in general all the time.

I love how most members think that moderators don't mod at all. Just the first page in the Free MMORPG section we have 20 deleted posts/topics

. An average of 3 topics per page equals 555 topics thats not even including the posts. So any ways I am not sure how much the other moderators will consider your post about the inactive moderators.

It's not that lothia, it's just that the mods only look in a few sections, most of them anyway. Go to gunbound and there is a private server thread still open i reported a week ago that started in June. There are other sections as well that are completely devoid of moderation. It's not that the mods don't do a lot of locking / deleting etc. It's that they do it all in one or two places, not in others.

I understand what you mean, don't worry. I have actually made long 10+ page reports about inactive moderators, forums needed, uneeded, promotions and what not

. I would show them to you but I doubt I can, even though it is my work. I am currently working on a few things and then I shall start working on inactive moderators. I agree completely how ever that some moderators should get kicked, which is what I have said straight out to the staff members.
