Default Mods need to get in gear.

I believe that a majority of active mods, need to actually roam the forum and delete the right topics and spam, ONRPG.com as a whole is a good website, but isnt as good as it COULD be though, it has so many rulebreakers, spam, and downright bad ****.

A lot of sites have a rather clean forum, because of guidelines filters etc.

There are just too many topics with porn/spam/people with referral links, wrong sections and whatnot, fabianN, lothia, phantom etc, theyre always in "general" section, posting, not really patrolling sections and deleteing what needs to be deleted.

You shouldnt have to rely on everyone to press a button to give you an email, you should do it yourself. These forums are the most un-modded forums I have seen.

Take gamefaqs for instance, a big gaming site, you post ANYTHING breaking the rules, expect to be banned, warned, suspended within 5 minutes tops.
Its not an automated system, though there is a "mark message as rulebreaking/spam" not many people actually use it, the mods see this stuff and delete it immediatly. I would really like it if mods started taking their job as a moderator of ONRPG seriously, instead of posting topics in general all the time.

Wow. One of ryugu's only serious posts and it was actually a really good one. I agree.

Hes actually right.
The moderators mostly do look into the general section the most.
I rarely see a moderator that actually looks throughout the other sections.
( We have a button that reports to web moderators? )
But I do think that GameFaq's community is sort of over whelming. Possibly bigger than ONRPG's.
I am not sure if anyone answered my post because I somehow can not find it, but I asked how many moderators does ONRPG have?
And again; I have seen moderators go throughout the General section mostly, but somehow I do not think that some of the web masters are even looking into this site!

theres quite a few mods, look at the bottom of the page a topic list , and I think it shows which mods supposedly "moderate" that partictular section.

You must remember, we cannot do anything in the other sections.
As for that one person posting porn, we had a minor problem with banning them because it didn't seem to work, but that has been fixed. You are right we do need more active mods, and we actually are currently working on that. Our members should not have to always report. But we cannot go through 70 page topics and decide what posts to delete, we usually can delete the topics on our own, which we do a lot more than you think. I deleted over 15 topics these last 2 days, and most of them fixed before deleting. ALso you have to remember that our members here are very good at reporting, I usually get reports with in 10 minutes of a post. Lastly, a large portion of the bad material comes at night, such as last night it was 1 AM and I luckly came to check the forum one more time and was able to delete about 5 - 7 porno posts.

i totally agree especially what happened today with that certain incident in the dragongem forum,i think if the mods are having too much trouble keeping order on the onrpg forums then they should start recruiting more mods so then problems will b solved much faster

I agree, they also should work on the troll factor and flames, people who say stupid stuff with the intention of just starting a flame war should be banned

Like the other night, with ShadowAngel, no mods did anything about it.
