Default Decent Manga

Ok well even though I have been watching anime for awhile I could never get into manga. Just reading stuff with pictures was somewhat...boring. After reading how some people enjoy it more when listening to music I decided to try it to continue the Air Gear saga (I have never watched a full anime series more then once. I am a fan of being left out of the dark on show. When I know the ending it get boring for me). I REALLY am enjoying the air gear manga and am not even close to being done.

That being said are there any other good series out there. i prefer ones that arent made into an anime yet/never will (aka no bleach/naruto/etc etc)

Thanks

PS. I like most genre's except Im not a big fan of sport anime/manga. I like the occasional SIDE romance but nothing huge story related

My favourite ones that don't have an anime are Akumetsu, ID, Mx0 (which got axe sadly), and Ubel Blatt. Yureka is not bad either.

Lmao, I did not know about that feature and I've been using that website for years

These days, I use advance search to filter out the genre I want and go through them. when I'm lazy, I will use myanimelist and go to a manga I like then browse it's recommendation list.

i don't know if i would read air gear or not, people say after a certain chapter everything just goes to hell and it will probably make you have a bad impression on manga

i do think Parasyte would be a good first read, and reading manga online blows imo if you can download it and read it with CDisplay it makes all the difference (the hotkeys help too like page up down m and x and stuff and higher res images)

hmmm if your into highschool delinquent stuff i recommend Kyou Kara Ore Wa

( i know i said you should try to download the manga's you read but this one is really hard to piece together so you will have to read this one online at mangafox or somewhere)

its really awesome imo and sometimes it is so funny i am just laughing my *** off because the main character is pretty random

theres a manga thats new to us on the scanulation side called "Hammer Session" its kind of like gokusen and great teacher onizuka type stuff (only 6 chapters out atm though sadly but i think new releases are pretty steady)

i have been reading a manwha recently called Yureka (ID eNTITY) its about a mmorpg its pretty good, the only other reading material about an mmorpg i read was "Sword Art Online" that is a light novel

one thing i like to do is just check out every ongoing manga i can find (through sites like mangafox and mangaupdates ect) and just check to see if you like reading them you would be surprised how much you can find that you may like

(side note Franken Fran is not for everyone its pretty Gorey but the art really rocks)

if your new to manga maybe try to read something short and sweet and see how you like it (Ultra red and Kurozakuro are really short i think both of them got dropped but they are both great

and i still recommend Nana to Kaoru for ongoing ecchi manga i love this manga and i cant wait for each chapter to release

but yeah manga is really awesome imo
