This is like trying to attack piracy it useless.
I already supported manga enough. I spent thousands buying manga and then I just finally stopped and started reading them on my computer.... Saved me a bundle to spend on more useful things. |

even if there are tons of scanulation groups you can never be happy because there will always be a good series that has not been scanulated or was dropped or has suuuuper slow releases
so losing any groups is bad i hate this...you buy manga in america to own it, to add it to a collection, not just to read it...i mean get real this really pisses me off to no end... what do they think the japanese guys cant go and read a chapter at the store in 2 seconds (1 chapter is avg 17-22 pages long) without paying for anything or barrow it from a friend or read it online just the same without it needing to be cleaned and typesetted and translated and all this other crap that scanulators do for free just so we can read something we would probably never have got a chance to otherwise unless we could read hiragana and katakana what a joke... whats more is the scanulation groups are helping to promote the mangas (and henceforth the anime if the series has/gets one) so even if they aren't paying who's to say out of all those new people that found this manga through said scanulation group that some of them wont maybe import the manga or even buy locally if possible..who's to say this person wont go buy some dvd box set of a season of the anime that could be made from that manga... this is wrong and it shouldn't happen things where fine the way they where before, this is not a feasible task and is unnecessary talk about pissing in the wind anime and manga are from japan and no one really tries to bring it over here seriously except for scanulation groups and fan subbing groups..all the "official" stuff is usually crap because they want to change things..i don't need a single thing changed in the anime i watch or the manga i read except some subtitles or english text on manga..that's it, but people don't get it..they want to localize it..i want to watch/read something Japanese not something "fake American" so leaving it as close as you can to the original is the best thing you can do damn it i hate localization i really do...you don't take the Mona Lisa and paint an American flag in the corner and say "well they just wouldn't get it if this wasn't here" you leave it the hell alone... people can pick up a lot of things on their own, i picked up so many things about Japanese culture through anime/manga its not even funny,a lot of the language too and im sure im not the only one, almost everything i read or watch is from japan and one of these days i might make a serious effort to learn the language properly..... sorry just raging a bit not like it will actually help anything though right? |
