Default Choosing the path in movies

In video games RPGs, they let you decide on certain options for the characters and they react differently. What if we could do this in a movie?

Two killers are running through the forest, both have guns. They stop and see a group of cops.

1. Take them out
2. Escape, sneak behind them
3. Cause a distraction and kill them one by one

The movie could have different endings all the time. How could would this be?

There are those movie games that allow you to choose your own adventure so to speak, it's just not a common practice anymore for some reason.

There was a german tv 'show' where the spectators were able to change a movies path with a phone call voting. Pretty awesome, the main actor died in the end haha

Yeah I could definitively see them doing that in the future. I guess they haven't yet because for the theatre release what would they do? You've got a bunch of people and not everyone wants the same option, although I could totally see the employees giving the spectators a device to "vote" on which option they want and the majority wins.

That sounds pretty cool. But if it were like those "Choose Your Own Adventure" books, I wouldn't dig it, since those were mostly lame.

You somehow create a distraction in the middle of the forest which alerts the attention of the nearby police. Once they have their back turned you and the other killer blow their brains out.

The End

I don't think this would be a good idea at all. Maybe if these were released direct to Bluray, then okay. But in a theater, this would be a horrible idea.

Imagine you go to see a Comedy movie. The main charcter, Chris is talking to a woman that he is sexually interested in. She says: "Sorry... I'm bisexual, and I have a girlfriend. If you sleep with me, you'd have to sleep with her at the same time."

The choices are:
1. Chris hooks up with both chicks.
2. Chris says no.
3. Chris makes out his best friend, Derrick, out of sexual frustration and confusion.

You pick 1. Pretty much every guy in the theater picks 1. But the guy to girl ratio is 1:2. Every girl picks 3.

What do?
