Indeed,PVP in DDO is rather ****ed

there is PVP but it is like in a tavern,where everyone just fights,sounds cool but really isnt

If you never played the original table-top RPG of Dungeons & Dragons, you will not understand.

In the table-top RPG, it was typical to go through this...

GM: you enter the tavern
Player 1: I want to make a observance check to see who looks dangerous or rowdy
Player 2: Oh no, not this again. Every time we go to a tavern you start this.
GM: you roll a successful check. You notice 3 scruffy looking guys at the far end of the bar staring at your party. The one with the broken nose gives a little smirk.
Player 1: BAR FIGHT!!!!
Player 2: DAMN IT!!!!

Bad thing about it is,you dont have any time to wait,once you enter and dropdown,that is it lol,you get attacked from all directions

This is true, the "bar fights" are the tests for PvP. They mentioned a previous article (a few years back), they are attempting to make PvP a part of the game. They mentioned an open instance that would be a "no-man's land" wilderness.

Not into gender locking... I like to play a hulking bad-*** or an old mage, doesn't work well with a female char.


I would go with DDO on this one... Although I think you already made your decision.
