i'm suprised that some naruto nerd hasn't mentioned the naruto instrumental they play b4 the episode starts

Why are people picking video games songs? I mean I know the topic is favourite, but damn.

For me, depending on how tightly we're describing instrumental; Anything by GYBE! really. Although they have the odd vocal sample, spoken word bit so I don't believe they count.

I'll say YYZ or La Villa Strangiato by Rush.

Most of Nobuo Uematsu's song rock, like One Winged Angel, Aerith's theme, Tifa's Theme from FF7. Also Balamb Garden, Julia, Eyes on me and Dont be afrain from FF8.

Some of Mozart is cool too, like Pachabel's Canon. Neil Zaza - I'm alright is an awesome guitar solo. :cool:

id like to correct slipknot maggot, to zanarkand is only the name of the piano intro, the actual full song name is The Skys Above by The Black Mages
my fav instrumental song is actualy Vamo Alla Flamenco by The Black Mages

Besides Broken Social Scene, There was this one song "Alexisonfire" did that was pretty nice. I forgot what it's name was, really, but they're pretty good new metal, if you're into that kind of stuff.

I personally enjoyed their older stuff.
