For those who are waiting.

Upcoming September issue of Newtype Magazine, which officially goes on sale in Japan next week, will officially announce the debut of a new anime title .hack//Quantum.

The popular .hack role-playing game franchise revolves around adventures in a fictional online game called The World. In .hack//Quantum, the characters Tobias (bottom far left in image), Mary (bottom left), and Sakuya (bottom center) form a party and embark on a high-difficulty-level quest in The World R:X.

For me its the same as previous one just the main character ( 1st from the right) is a girl now not a boy.

.hack//link was the psp or w/e game name ... and this anime is a spin off that game ... and i can't believe that u actually believed in that fall anime list

i think i saw somewhere that there will be a anime serie of .hack/link not in that fall anime list that iron posted i cant remember where i saw it

omg read the whole this this is that anime ... of hack//link ... just different names :/ and there will be no other anime of hack besides this one ... at the moment ...

wtf did they do to baulmong!?
my world was full of big burly pkers with the big breasted girls, not these feminine looking players with short torsos and long legs.

They better not try to turn my .//hack into some shallow kids show like twilight basically was.

they should have made anime of the orignal .hack/link or kept kite npc like a male or not a female with long hair looks like they run out of ideas

Lol. I'll clear some things up here. This is not based on the game .hack//link. The reason that kite is a female in this anime is because he is actually a female in the real world. Just like the .hack//sign thing. Now stop your weird ideas of this being a anime adaption on one of the games.
