Realm of War

Brief description:
Realm of War is a multiplayer tactical turn-based game with MMORPG elements. Players develop a team of about ten warriors and lead them into battle against other players. The game is set in a fantasy world and the entire game is 2D.

Target aim:
Freeware

Compensation:
Unfortunately since this is a free project, we cannot offer any monetary compensation. We can include you in the credits under a beta testers section.

Technology:
We used Java to program the game. However, it is a downloaded application and not a browser-based game. It was developed with the Windows system in mind, but should work with all java compatible platforms.

Talent needed:
Currently we are seeking testers for our closed Beta. We are looking for feedback on issues such as balancing and interface, as well as help with squashing any bugs that might appear. Due to the multiplayer nature of the game, we will ask that testers be available at certain times throughout the week. We will try to schedule many opportunities so you have plenty of options on when to attend, and we will try to organize our test periods around your schedules.

We are also looking for a 2D portrait artist to draw shoulder-up portraits of our fantasy characters. Currently there are 7 characters that we need portraits for. The images need to be 160x185 pixels. Please contact us for more information.

Team structure:
This is mainly a two-man project. Together we fulfill all the needed roles. The two team members are William and Noam (me).

The website looks good, BUT when I look at the source, I thought that I could give some tips.

Tips:
Dont use <font face="Verdana" size="1"> EVERYWHERE! Use general things like <td class="someClass"> or <td id="someID"> or in the CSS, add body {} or td {}.

Fast page load is your friend!
