Free Lancers

The Red vs. Blue wars rage on and they have no idea that it’s all some sick joke. No, I take that back. Not a Joke, our training. Some day we, the Freelancers, will be needed again. The Director set up the Red vs. Blue wars to train us. We are the best of the best. But being the killers that we are has its price. Being changed to give us each our own special ability, being fitted with spliced up computer programs that help us fight, and just the general environment. It will make anyone go crazy. It’s the worst thing a human can experience, but then again, we’re not human any more.

Plot: This is a sub story to Red vs. Blue, which is a sub story to Halo. We are all Freelancers. We each have our armor, our weapons, are armor enhancement, and our combat AI. Each combat AI has its own specialty which coincides with ours and our armor enhancements. We are soldiers being trained to with stand anything, but can we survive the second voices in our heads?

Freelancers: We are on the same side (so far). We are all named after states in the U.S. We wear the same type of armor with minor adjustments to our specialty, but most adjustments aren’t noticeable, however some of us do have different color armor. Each of us are equipped with a AI Battle Unit. We also have our own weapons that correspond with our specially trained abilities. Every day we train, and every day we go to sleep with these damn voices in our heads.

AI Battle Units: The AIBUs are AIs that help us fight. Some give verbal support and some help in their own ways. They are all named after Greek letters. No one knows where they came from. They are hard to deal with because it is literally planted in your brain so it is like a second mind thinking in your head and talking to you. They are able to make an image of themselves in front of you to talk to you directly or with other people via a light panel on your shoulder. Their appearance basically looks exactly like you only one who solid color and they never take off their helmet. The high ups have no idea what they just put in our heads.

Personality: She is a very tough girl, but everyone knows she has a romantic side because of her boy friend Church, but you do not want to say it to her
Appearance: She has completely black armor and a combat knife attached to her chest
Specialty: Assassinations and traps
Armor Enhancement: She can turn invisible
Weapons: A Battle Rifle and a SMG
History: She was always the tough girl, even way before she got Omega stuck in her head. She has been dating Church, who fights for the Blue army and she is conflicted because she cannot tell him that he is fighting for an imaginary cause.

AIBUs: Name: Omega
AIBUs Enhancement: Removes blocks in her brain, which allows her to be unrelentingly brutal and destructive
AIBUs Personality: Omega is completely insane, He almost never says much and when he does talk it is only to Tex
AIBUs Appearance: No one knows because he never takes on his visual image

Age: 29
Gender: Male
Personality: He is nice and is always thinking ahead
Appearance: He has orange armor
Specialty: Infiltration
Armor Enhancement: None, he was an experiment to see what would happen if a Freelancer didn’t have an enhancement
Weapons: Two SMGs and 2 Magnums
History: He was caught breaking into another building by the Freelancer agency. He was noticed for his skills and was made into a Freelance.

AIBUs: Name: Delta
AIBUs Enhancement: Extreme analysis of battle situations and psyche profiles
AIBUs Personality: Very analytical and has zero since of humor
AIBUs Appearance: Green and glowing

Code Name: Virginia, or just Virg
Age: ??
Gender: Male
Personality: He is very quiet and angry. He talks very little and is not very friendly. He has a slight problem working with others
Appearance: Grey armor with a red shoulder plates and no visor
Specialty: Full force destruction and termination
Armor Enhancement: He speeds up for a short amount of time making him extremely strong
Weapons: A brute shot and 2 magnums
History: ??

AIBUs: Name: Eta, Theta, another experiment where they wanted to see what would happen if one man got two AI
AIBUs Enhancement: Slight energy shield, energy drain with contact
AIBUs Personality: Loud, insane
AIBUs Appearance: Clear with a grey outline, A hazy black splotch

(I know absolutly nothing of halo, ive only played the first game, I jsut thought this would be cool, tell me if anything is wrong, and ill fix it)

Age: 25
Gender: female
Personality: Cali is quit, calm, someone who will think thing's through before doing so. She is almost never talkative or very happy as many other people, and she is slightly two tone's more depressed than most other people.
Appearance: Dark green, almost black armor.
Specialty: Tactical assult, technical thing's (well, im not sure if these count as specialtie's)
Armor Enhancement: Slightly elevated agility, stamina, and strenght
Weapons: assualt rifle and a Magnum
History: Not much is known about her, she just seemed to have drifted her way into becoming a freelancer. And she wont tell anybody, about any sort of past information she has.

AIBUs: Name: Beta, (i think that's how you spell it)
AIBUs Enhancement: quicer more logical thinking, like if there was a bomb going to go of in two second's, the quicker thought's would help her to be quicker in disarming.
AIBUs Personality: Beta is quit, not known to speak often, and when that rarity occur's he onl say's small sentance's.
AIBUs Appearance:black!

Weapons: Sniper Rifle, 2 pistols, and a combat knife
History: Not much is known about him, not even his real first name, but he is the single greatest sniper, or at least he would tell you so.

AIBUs Enhancement: Slows down heart rate for steadier shots and smoother kills
AIBUs Personality: Witty and Sarcastic
AIBUs Appearance: Dark Red
