I've been waiting for this game for the longest time. sadly it hasnt come out.
it definately has an engineer class that builds walls and turrets and tosses grenades and heals other robots.

You culd allwheys try anarchy online there they hawe a engineer class... u can heal and make robots and buffs and some more. http://www.anarchy-online.com

Trickster online is kinda cartoony for you but there's a job that's fitting to the character you're looking for. I think it's the lion and fox class

The healer type class has a turret, and can call airstrikes.

Neosteam sorta has a engie class(Can build things). The game is dead last time I checked, however.
