It feels like most games I try these days, I feel alone. Even when I play Guild wars, and I'm in a guild, I still feel alone. I just don't connect with these people, it's the mind set. And god forbid you don't have a guild, than your really hooped.

I'm looking for a game, probably has a world wide chat, something with a small, connected community. Something where you get to know the people around you, see familar faces all the time and make friends.

I used to play Ashen Empires for a long, long time because the game had say, a few thousand people, and of those, maybe ~500 were frequent, at end game level on my server, and it was very easy to know mostly everyone. You really felt like you were a part of something, and got to see your friends all the time. This is what I'm looking for.

Graphics aren't important, gameplay obviously is, but whatever. PvP is nice.

Lost Saga's community is pretty tight. You will see the same person alot in one day depending on how many matches you play.

Alot of people don't get into it though since it's mostly skill and does take a bit of time to get good.

Wurm seems to be for you. The game completely revolves around you and the people around you. And it has a server-wide (depending on your server) chat. Freedom server is all about the community. You can join a village, or just set-up your own little settlement around other people, and you'll interact/talk to them daily.

my list to you:

Wonder King
Wurm
Lost Saga (I don't play it, but my friend says he runs into people really often)
Dungeons and Dragons Online (as long as you stick to a server, you run into familiar faces all the time, but you might not like it cause some people tend to hop from server to server)
Flyff (I logged off this for like 2 years, logged back on and bumped into ALL my old friends)
