This could be either p2p or f2p so I posted it in the general section as apposed to posting it twice in each of the other sections... but anyway,

I am looking for a f2p or p2p sci fi mmorpg. Remember Earth and Beyond, that was an amazing game.

I want to find a game that doesn't limit you to the inside of your ship. I want a game that has great crafting, the ability to walk around in a space station, fly to uncharted lands, discover new worlds and if I decide to stay there, let me gather resources, build, start a trading post, create that out of the way stop that travelers come to because I discovered a new metal that makes jump drives more efficient.

Let me meet an indigenous people, help them by doing quests, let them teach me things about the planet by doing quests. Help them develop technology on their planet by doing quests...

I don't think it would be hard to do a GOOD sci fi mmorpg if you have the right creative minds working on it.

Anyone know of a game like what I'm looking for...

Please don't say Star Wars... thanks for any other suggestions
