Toronto FD told us not to leave our apartments, the fire is on the 24th floor. I've never seen so many fire trucks, ambulances, etc. in one place before!

I was unaware firefighters ever suggested staying in a burning building while they're trying to put the fire out.

On a side note, how exactly do they tell the difference between a 3 "alarm" fire and a 4 "alarm" fire? They're unit of fire measurement confuses Bacn.

I have no idea how to tell, CityTV News is now saying it's a 3-alarm fire, when it's still a 6-alarm fire. You should see all the fire trucks outside.

the hallways are probably full of smoke and it would just be safer for you to stay in your apartment.

They decided to evacuate the whole building after midnight, and none of us know when we are going to be allowed back into the building. It may be a few days, or longer.
