EA do give some freebies to Steam owners.
You can chose a game from their online store, I'm getting Sims 3.

i pre ordered the game so got it 29/6/2010 which would make me unable to get anything from EA. also i cleared my whole inbox of hotmail including the email where it says i purchased APB so i cant send them more prove other then the game beeing in my steam list...

now ima go flame their support for lack of using spacebar xD

me: i see, could have known there would be strings attached to it since i pre-ordered the game i got it on 29/6/2010. why the heck are only people after 7/15/2010 eligible? this is the last time i pre-order anything from ea really...

I preordered APB Jun 12 from steam.

I got a 25% discount code for anything from the EA Store.

Didn't even have to provide proof that I paid for it.

EDIT: Well, I didn't get a whole game, but I was prepared to just cut my losses and move on. Success regardless.

EDIT2: I might try going again, but a little more agressively. Might be able to grab a full copy on top of this.
