Not saying it is really bad, but...you don't watch it because it has something awesome. It only can serve as a time waster and even if you hadn't seen it nothing of value will be lost. At some points it can even become very irritating and you just stop watching it like I did.

I read the manga and well, same crap as Bleach/Naruto/One Piece/yadda yadda ding dong.

I did like the parallel universe thing and that cats there are uber ownage, but that was about it.

with this i can agree but with other things big NO because first of all no anime gives u value its only for time passing because there is nothing else to do ... and second hey we got naruto about shinobi ... we got bleach about shinigami ... we got one piece about pirates ... and now we got fairy tail about magicians sooo no wonder right ?

(based on the anime, i did read the manga but dropped it when the anime came out i usually do anime over manga if the series has an anime)

i think fairy tail is a great shonen anime, i don't agree at all saying its mediocre..the characters are really unique and the story arcs are good, also if you think about all that's happened so far i would say its pretty damn epic for soon to be 50 episodes (49) atm

i think it will just take time for it to grow into something bigger and mature, like one piece and especially kateikyoushi hitman reborn (hitman reborn was totally bad at the start..it had like 25 episodes of filler before anything even happened)and one piece has always been good but it keeps getting better as time goes on imo

i like it as much (and more sometimes) than most of the current big ongoing shonen animes

(and yeah i like the guild thing too (and the job boards with the rankings), i think its really a cool idea especially the way they have done it with dark guilds and assassins ect)
