I got that too when I clicked the game start button for the first time after the maintenance was over. I just let it download (first file was 185kb and second one was 752kb i believe) until it finished and the launch window popped up.
as for uninstalling the game...not sure~ not at my laptop atm but i will get back to you when I do. (unless you fix it by then)

Yeah I downloaded those two files as well, but afterwards nothing happened. I've left it running about 30 minutes with no changes. I'm sure it has something to do with Vista because it starts up just fine on my WinXP desktop, but I can't figure out what it is. I've ticked off the Run As Administrator and compatability with Windows XP SP2 boxes but still no luck.
