Default How to make a template?

So, I have these mini-skateboard things I admittedly am addicted to. Cool enough, I found out a way to make wooden ones. I guess the wooden ones sell pretty well on ebay, etc.

So, I'm looking to make some graphics for the bottom of my custom fingerboards. I don't need help with the graphics YET (I will be back asking for designs, and yes, paying for them!) but I do need to figure out how to make a template for the boards.

Does anyone have some suggestions? I can take a high res picture of one of the skateboards, but I really don't know how to scale it and print it on the PC so its the right size?

But yeah, you graphics guys, if you help me out now, I'll totally be back to commission y'all with some skateboard designs~

Photoshop + a printer which allows you to print stickers.

Just get the correct sizes and do your thing!

Well, I just did this in 20 seconds.

The skull image is just a background, you get the size of your board, make a template out of it, paste it over the background(Skull) cut the image to have only the image for the bottom of the board, and print it on a sticker printer.

I know how to get it on the board and stuff, my issue is that I don't know how to make the actual template. I held the deck up to the screen of the one Hatashi posted, and its about double the size I need. I guess I could use a measuring tape and just make a square, then make the design larger than the board and trim the edges off.

In that case I'd just have to stay away from the edges.

And thanks for the help guys, I know some of you are real good with stuff, and when I'm ready for designs I'll be requesting them here or in General. If I use your design I'll give ya like $5 or whatevers clever at the time.

That's why we need the actual size of your board oister ^^ Photoshop has the ability to trim an image to the exact size

3.5 inches long, about an inch wide. Those are rounded up / down, but it'll be ok like that.

Edit: To be more exact, they are 96 mm long...thats the official size.

Edit2: Eh, I got it:

(highlight to see it lols).

Oister, ya know I'm sexy.

Easiest way would be to use photoshop and make a document exactly that size.
If you have photoshop, I can make the template rather easily to fit any specs.

Otherwise, pop open word, and make a box with your size specs, then paste in the image/design and print it.
If you need it I can make the word template for you, just tell me if you want it to be for a single design or if you want it modulated.
