to say that our world is actually a hologram of a 2D universe would be saying that the left side, inside, and right side of my finger would be in the same exact location before it is "projected" out. since my fingers are made of mass, that is not possible, like saying a function can have several x's for 1 y. the x being physical material and the y being coordinate location.
