((Ok, I don't want to rush on without you, astoniafan, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to start. Feel free to join in once you've made your character ))

Kais pushed open the heavy door to the Hunter's Guild Hall, the smell of mead as he entered was overpowering, and tempting. However, he decided, he was not here to get drunk. He needed money, meaning time to get back to hunting. Stepping around a table filled with several boisterous men in armour, probably celebrating a successful hunt, Kais approached a large wooden desk. There was a fairly attractive woman sat behind it, with a small badge bearing the crest of the Hunter's Guild.

"Hello, can I help you?" She asked, noticing Kais approach.
"I'd just like to see what hunts you have available at the moment." The woman nodded as she reached down behind the desk, producing a large scroll. "We don't have much at the moment, I'm afraid. Mainly just farmers complaining about their livestock being eaten by Wyrms."
Kais sighed, there really wasn't much available. However, he needed money, and practice. "Is there anything else?" The receptionist reached down under the desk again, pulling out a smaller scroll. "There are some more dangerous requests, but you won't be able to do any of them by yourself." She began. "A doctor from the Capital wants an egg from a Windtail Dragonkin nest." Kais gulped. That would be a hard one to pull off.
"I'll take it." He said. "Can you post it up on the noticeboard that I'm looking for help?"
"Of course." The receptionist vanished for a moment into the crowd before returning. "Your request is up on the board." She said, smiling. Kais thanked her and went to find an empty seat.

Rain was itching for a hunt, it had been days and she was nearly broke. She needed something dangerous to do, instead of messing with those wyrms in complaining farmers feilds. So she went and looked at the Noticeboard. Her eyes falling upon a notice saying soemone needed help to retrieve an egg from Windtail Dragonkin nest. Rains eyes enlarged some, then narrowe din thought, it would be dangerous. But if she were tp have soemone with her than it would be easier.

So she went up to the reception desk. Leaning over the desk, her eyes set in a permanat glare, seeming to stare at the lady with a dark look.
"May I help you?"
Asked the lady, not so nice towards Rain after thier last meet. She nodded.
"the windtail Dragkin mission, im here to help"
She said. Her eyes narrowed at the lady. She nodded.
"kais is is right over there"
Rain nodded, and without a thank you towards the lady left and found kais.
"Hey, im here to help you with the Mission"
She muttered, her tone brisk and to the point, she wanted to the get the mission started as soon as possible.
"Im Rain Remirez"

Kais glanced up when he heard a female voice talking to him. In front of him stood a, rather short, woman. From where he was sat, he couldn't get a good look at the weapons she was carrying, but Kais was fairly sure he could make out a set of dual blades. The armour she was wearing seemed light, possibly the tanned hide of an animal he'd never seen before.

Kais grinned slightly when he heard her mention the mission, this woman was straight to the point. "There's no messing about with you, is there?" He chuckled slightly. "I'm Kais Tolay." He said standing up and extending a hand for her to shake. "Care for a drink before we set out?" Kais began. "Might take the edge off the nerves before a big hunt. It always does wonders for me, at any rate."

Rain could see him examine her for a moment, then he spoke.Rain nodded, a small smile slipping onto her face. She shook his hand and sat down. Her eyes darting around at all the other sitting people before landing back on Kais.He seemed nice enough. And he seemed to be pretty smart aswell, she just hoped that it would be easy to partner up with him.

"So, how long have you been a hunter?"
Asked Rain. She always asked, it was an automatic question, and it helped her know how experianced the person is. She had learned after teaming up with a few newbie hunters that working along unexperianced people, while you were pretty experianced, was harder than it sounded.

Kais shifted in his seat slightly. He always got a little uncomfortable when anybody asked him how long he'd been hunting. After all, he'd only been doing it for just over a year. That was nothing compared to some people, he'd started late. Partly due to trauma over his father, partly because he enjoyed blacksmithing so much. This woman, Rain, despite looking about his age, was probably a lot more experienced than he was. "Long enough to know which end of a sword goes into a monster, if that helps." He grinned, hoping to deflect the question away with humour. "How about yourself?" He asked. "You look like the kind of person who's killed their fair share of threatening beasties."

Rain nodded, she knew some people felt uncomfortable just plain out answering the questions she asked, and besides, he looked pretty experianced. She smiled slightly, trying her best to not snicker at his remark about the sword, she didnt fully understand what made her want to laugh.

"Not really, ive only ever messed with the smaller things, besides a few large beasties, I started when I was sixteen, but hardly got any good missions, im twenty one now and this is only the fourth largest thing ive ever been aloud to mess with. Besides the recptionist lady hates me"
She smiled a bit, remembering the days that she could hardly weild one sword let alone two duel blades, but she had managed, and could now do alot of things.
then moved on to another topic.
"I have no idea what a Windtail dragonkin is. The biggest ive ever messed with was a White howler dog, wich is where I got my armor from"

Kais sighed a very quiet sigh of relief, he was glad he didn't have to admit he hadn't been hunting as long as Rain. He let out a quiet, low whistle when he heard that she'd been hunting since she was sixteen. She must be a prodigy or something, to start that early. Kais raised his eyebrows when he heard that the receptionist hated him, "That must be one hell of a story..." He thought to himself, especially with how nice she was to her.

"I've never seen a Windtail Dragonkin myself..." Kais began, reaching for his recently purchased flagon of mead. "But I've heard they're pretty big... Well, not by Dragonkin standards..." He shrugged. "From what I've heard, the eggs we're meant to be taking are bigger than your head... Which should be fun to carry." He took a swig of his drink. "We're probably going to need a few more people to come with us to act as chew toys... I mean, to distract the Windtail while we move the egg." He smirked. "You sure you don't want a drink?"

Rain smile, then shook her head.
"i dont really drink, Im not against drinking, its just that I dont feel comfortable drinking, as you will learn, I may seem nice enough, but I have some major issues, but as long as you stay on my goodside I dont bite......Much"
She laughed as she quietly added the last part. Wondering if he had caught the last part. She smiled, showing that she meant it as a joke, rather than a threat.

"Anyways, I think we will be needing more people"
She aggreed.Her eyes told a different story though, they may have needed more people, but she wasnt quick to trust many people at a time. She still nodded her head anyways, making her hair bounce slightly.
