Child Frozen in Time is a TLC special about the life of Brooke Greenberg, a 16-year-old girl who stopped growing and developing as an infant. The documentary features Greenberg, her family and a team of medical experts as they try to decipher what has caused her mysterious condition.

Brooke continues to wear diapers, and is pushed along in a stroller by her parents when out and about. She is not yet walking on her own, and still has not developed speaking skills. Her physical appearance has remained unchanged for at least the past decade. Although physicians are unsure about exactly how Brooke contracted this curious condition, the issue appears to be the result of a mutated gene that controls the aging and development process.

Although unquestionably different than others in her age group, Brooke does enjoy some of the same activities as other teens, such as shopping and listening to rock and roll tunes. 7

Child Frozen in Time aired on Sunday, August 9, 2009, and has aired again many times since.8

Pedos are going to go crazy when she turns 18.

It's only a matter of time before scientists break this gene down and figure out how to keep people looking eternally youthful until they die. Scary thought.

Of course it can, through the years the life expectancy of a human has increased, but i think it can only increase to a certain point.

Meh. I don't know about that so much. Life expectancy's been increasing for the past couple hundred years. What's wrong with adding a few centuries, if we can? We'll all still die, eventually (barring massive new discoveries about the nature of the universe), but adding a little time can't be that objectionable.

I guess it might get a little crowded though. Oh well. That's what mars is for
