Before playing Kinect, take the biggest swing you can at the person or people closest to you. Punch as hard as you can. If you hit them, shout angrily at them that they're too close. Could start a fight, but in the end everyone learns a valuable lesson.

That said, at least the Kinect is less of a Wii ripoff then the Move. They're absolutely trying to capitalize on the market (can you blame them?), kudos for trying something new though.
