Or pickpocket them for all they're worth, follow them home, murder them, and empty their house. That's the Oblivion way unless you're playing a namby pamby character.

In a way, the ultimate game would be Oblivion with tons of players.

I second this. The most intense pk experience I had was playing Conquer, it was my roots. It's come a long ways, and even has a monk class releasing soon. The game is heavily based on grinding, but makes it up with some of the best PK gaming you'll ever have. (If you can stand the graphics and the slow start)

Lol.

It sounds to me like you do not like PC games. Try buying a PS3.

Was the first time I was introduced to the concept of "Open PvP". Is that game still running? Niiice.
It was also like - my first isometric MMO

I think he would enjoy a DoTA. Anyone want to go through the standard DoTA-list? Don't want to take the time to put any order to them, because there's no indication as to which he would prefer.

But the hardest-core is probably Team Fortress 2.
So play that.

TF2 or Lineage 2.

I still play TF2 on a daily basis, great game in terms of shooters, but has a nice learning curve to it for some of the characters (Medics and the Engineers). As for DoTA based games, League of Legends is still my favorite and free with HoN being a close second(costs money). You might want to wait for Forsaken World. I heard they might add open PvP servers to the mix, might be worth checking out in the future.

I heard MU was also a game focused on PvP, and the max level is like 300. Archlord also has a heavy focus on PvP, and is going to be adding a new class/race soon. Most of the really good PvP mmorpgs are labeled as dead, sadly.
