I know this is a weird request, but I'm lookin for a F2P that is aesthetically pleasing and has a good feel to it. By feel I mean something that is easy going and fun to control.

I don't really need an elaborate PVP system or a craft system that requires me to get out an Excel spreadsheet. I just want something that is relaxing and pleasing to the eyes and ears. A good community is a plus.

And yes, I am looking for a F2P MMORPG, so if we could avoid any suggestions like "a screensaver with background music" or "why not just watch a movie?" etc. since those don't really help. I do want to participate in the game, but I wanna stay away from a title that looks like trash but has a good "story" or "good concepts" etc. I do like titles like that, but not for this particular thread.

Any suggestions?

P.S. My favorite RPG stories are probably Xenogears for the Playstation and Chrono Trigger for the Super Nintendo. Final Fantasy 3 was a good one too. Wish they made the single player ones like that these days.

Lineage II.Yes, it's P2P (well...not necessarily if you know what I mean...) but it's scenery and music are the best I've seen/heard in an mmo (ofc, opinions differ, so yeah...)

I'd say lord of the rings is your best bet for f2p.

Some people have said LOTRO is not really F2P, but they never really say why. Is it like EQ2 where they severely gimp you for not paying?
