The bass in the AKG K81 are there without being too over powering. It doesn't cover up other parts to a song. Give me a song you think has good bass and I will tell you how well the bass comes through. I have also tried some bass tests from various frequencies. Yeah I figured when I bought Philips that I'd be paying for something that wasn't that great but when I played them I was rather surprised at the quality of sound.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjgFYQMWtqo Fairly bassy (wobbly bass) used in dubstep. If that sounds good I'm sold. |

The headphones were even vibrating a bit. Like I said the bass is there but it is not going to be very heavy. There are headphones out there for around the same price with more bass, but I personally don't like most them as they usually muddy up the music. I guess it's one of those things you have to try yourself. Last edited by IronyTaken; 11-29-2010 at 08:41 PM. |

I suggest some nice WeSC bongo's. They're quite affortable now (€78,-), and they have a amazing sound/bass. They also aren't completely covering your head, so it won't look that weird. |

What're those headphones called..?
Uhh, something candy.. Yeah, I see people with those. They're tiny and I bought some from the dollar store and they stopped working within 3 months. I think that's a pretty good deal. EDIT; Oh, someone already posted them. I didn't read the whole thread. |
