Twilight Blades - Twin blades that release a brilliant glow that branches off and reveals a wind coming off of it as it moves through the air. However, the light is instantaneous, fading into darkness seconds later. The combination of gathering light and wind for a mere second or two before returning to normal confuses the eye; it tends to make the eye see the blades as "disappearing", playing with the pupil of the eye and its inability to handle variation in light (aka creating an illusion to the eye). The handle of the blades is arched, liked the hilt of a rapier. However, the blades are thicker and more dense than a rapier, as well as curved as it makes its way to the point.
Power of Song - Her voice seems to connect with her power over the wind. Because of that, she can cause a powerful wind to surround her. However, Niola is unable to control her power when she sings, and sometimes causes great disaster because of it.

Appearance: Niola has short black hair in the back, stopping around the tip of her neck. However, long bangs falling in layers from her neck to her shoulder adds a bit of feminism to her. A few scattered bangs branching from the center of her forehead and fans downward to her golden eyes. Niola's forehead is somewhat large, creating a mature appearance to her tan complexion. However, her childish smile makes up for her mature features, including her small, almond shape eyes.
Niola's cat-like features led her to wearing a lot of gothic clothing. Although she has yet to pierce any part of her body, she likes to wear a lot of black and jewelry with skulls on it. Overall, she looks like a childish goth girl.

Bio: Niola was a child born from talented parents. Her mother was a talented flute player and her father was a pianist. As for Niola, she was gifted with the voice of song. Even at a young age of six, she had a strong, spirited voice. Of course, such an amazing talent was not all Niola was capable of. When she sung, a slight wind would wrap itself around her and give her a magical appeal. Depending on how emotional she was, her power would increase to a dangerous level. An example of this was revealed when her father fell ill and a raiding gang shot her mother above her heart. Even though both of them managed to overcome their challanges, they were unable to leave their beds. All the while, Niola was pressured to sing for the people of the village she lived in, which was poor and held a lot of sickly people. Three years later, when Niola decided to sing, a terrible wind storm brewed. Trying to keep everyone's hopes up, she continued to sing, until a majority of the village was destroyed. In the blast, Niola lost control and blacked out, only to awaken to ruins. Afraid and confused, Niola ran away and eventually bumped into a travelling merchant. He heard rumors about Niola and told her about the academy in the distance. It took her four years to finally arrive (one year of wait due to her inability to enter) to the academy, yet it pleased her that she would be able to redeem herself for her actions of the past.

CURRENT OUTFIT: Niola's top is a scarlet corset shirt that ends around the edges of her shoulder and comes to her waist. Along the sides of the front are white "x"'s, falling in and out of view until a few feet from the bottom, where two loose bows existed. Some of the corset is hidden halfway by an obsidian jacket with kimono-like sleeves Niola put on afterwords. White stitches lined both sleeve edges and formed small bows alternatively (every other one). A scarlet colored skirt with descrete ripples wraps around Niola's waist, along with two black, upside down triangles (two in front and in back) and white stitches zipping in and out of view at the top of the skirt (a belt buckle rests on the right center); a crimson line revolves around the edge of the skirt, like a seared path of red. Two medium-sized, white bows are placed on each side of the skirt. Lastly, on her feet are thick, black boots with white laces; her hands have white gloves on them.
