Niola struggled again to get up, yet all attempts were futile. Instead, she listened to her surroundings. It seemed the corridor she was in was disconnected from whatever action occured elsewhere, for she could not hear even the slightest russle. Finally, rushing footsteps made their way to Niola's door, stopped, and then continued as the figures made their way in the room. From what Niola could tell, they were all trainees who used the art of Healing, wearing nurse uniforms and the such. However, none of them meant nothing to her, so she simply closed her eyes and feigned sleeping.

"My, you sure sleep a lot," A female voice called out from somewhere nearby. "I hope you aren't truly ill."

The friendliness in the woman's voice pleased Niola's ears, and she decided to have a peek at who was talking to her. A smiling face framed by light, reddish-brown hair gazed sympathetically at Niola. She was a young lady with emerald eyes and a slender, yet curved frame. It was obvious she was human, yet she had the complexion of an elf. If anything, Niola would have thought she was the one that was ill, not herself.

"Sorry...I'm just dizzy. Do you think that I'm lazy? Well, I'm not. I'm just anti-social. I especially hate being surrounded by people."

"Claustrophobic, eh?" The woman giggled a bit before checking a note pad she held in her right hand. "Let's see...ah! So your name is Niola Winsheil. My, it is amazing to see a full wind user at this academy. There are so many electricity and fire uses, wind is just as rare as water and ice users. Ah, by the way...my name is Marie Custophe. Nice to meet you!"

"Nice...to meet you, too." Niola found her lips trembling, struggling to form a smile. Feeling foolish, Niola bent her head and offered her hand, at which Marie shook it.
