I agree but we also need more sections, major and minor, which has been suggested. More sections for games would allow all official information on a single game to be placed in one area for quicker reference and to clean up the forum a bit. It makes no sense to have an "official ign thread" for example eventually get pushed back so far because of new posts and people create duplicates because they don't feel like looking beyond the first page of the most recent topics posted in which happens often. If someone really wants to know something they really should use the search function first to check and see if their particular question has already been asked and answered, but they wouldn't have to use the search function if information was organized better. People constantly ask, "what's everyone playing?" which could be answered very simply by having the names of everyone who's playing that particular game in the big ign threads that are always created in the first post so someone can look at them. I'd like to see "official IGN threads" handled by a particular person who makes the first post, and collects all the IGNs, and lists them in first post. It would be a lot easier than everyone having to scan through 30-40 pages looking for all the people playing a particular game, it would be a good reference and it should kill the need for anyone to ever ask who is playing a particular game.
If people still wanted to post in the free mmorpg section about a particular game and start up a discussion they could, but a lot of threads should be moved to the section specifically designated for it (updates, events, ign lists, guides, screenshots, tech problems, etc). People not wanting to post in sections is a ridiculous reason not to have them for every major game, especially when they'd kill a lot of the same useless threads that people make on a daily basis. It's the mods job to make people follow the rules here and it's each members responsibility to follow them. From a statistical standpoint, there are really only two sections on this board, the Free MMORPG and General sections; Both are filled with a lot of spam and are too unspecific IMO.
