And so the war began…

“When we land on that beach, we are going be hit by some extreme opposition. Get ready for a hell of a gun fight. You, call in an artillery strike the moment you see the japs on that tree line. The main target is a military air base far into the island. After that we take out the mountain HQ and artillery guns, which have ground our Navy’s movements to a halt. That will cripple their front in this area and the fleet will be able to push on past. This mission could mean the lives of thousands of American soldiers. I cannot stress enough how important it is. We break their hold on this island and we save lives, we bring this war that much closer to a conclusion. And when we win this war, we go home, all of us… Oorah marines?”

World War 2 RP. This RP will have many parts. The first part will be a group of US Marine Rangers, named Becker’s Rangers. Their first mission is to storm Makatau Island and push through the mountain HQ trenches and stop their artillery which has been firing on our ships none stop. The next parts will include theaters of war by the Russians, British, French, and rebellions, including an awesome SOE mission in Burma, French rebellions, and even a Jewish revolt. Each Theater I will ask for a new charrie sheet. First off is the American campaign in the Pacific.

Personality: He is rough and staggered even for being so young, he has seen too many good marines die and he is pissed about it

History: He shipped out a few years ago. Then he was in a relationship with a girl. They were going to get married. They kept sending letters to each other for a couple of years. Then she sent him one last letter. It told him that she had met another man and was moving on from him. He tried to right to her three times, but she never wrote back. Then his Sgt died. When he was bleeding out he gave Jack a chain necklace covered holding a dog tag for every man the Becker’s Rangers lost including the Sarge. Jack was promoted shortly after. Now he leads the Rangers. He leads them through hell…

History: He was born and raised Jewish. He has been supporting his family in Poland for a while. He has had a mostly happy life and had in no way expected what was about to happen. He is a farmer who does most of the work because his father is old and needs to be supported.
