"Whatever you say..." Ben picked up Niola and sprinted. He is even faster than he was thanks to Siberius. He was out of sight of Blake before he even noticed Cyr was up. They were in the woods, no way was Ben going into the school with Niola. She moaned a little but didn't do anything else.
"Come on Niola! We need you!" Ben whispered. He saw someone walking in the woods but he seemed different. Ahh shoot! Mortal! Ben took off in the other direction but it was too late.

"Hey! What are you doing in these woods! This isn't a place for kids!" The man shouted.

"Uhhh...School project?" Ben stated. It wasn't too much of a lie, Ben wasn't a very good liar either. "I need to see the effects of this plant right here," Ben moved his head in the direction of a plant he had never seen before. "On humans when they eat them. That's why my friend here is asleep, she ate a little too much." That was a good excuse. "But now we need to get back to class. Bye!" Ben took off perpendicular to the man. This way he wouldn't go to the school or tword civilization. He wasn't about ready to go there again.

Then a thought hit Ben. What if the man behind all this killing was the man that was controlling my father? That made him so angry he almost burned Niola. Agh! I might need to stay in these woods for a while... time to remember those survival skills Ben.
