Try to stop thinking. Every day you have experiences which stimulates your brain and usually at night you will think about things related to them. So close your eyes and focus on the pitch black darkness and don't think about anything(it's really hard).
At least that's how I sleep and I can sleep at any time using this method. |

The only way to fix the sleeping pattern is to force yourself to stay awake and not be distracted if trying to sleep. Anything artificial will make things worse. |

My sleeping pattern has always been odd (It's not uncommon to find me on MSN at 5am), but it has become routine and so my life works with it.
I get enough sleep, I've adapted. However, sometimes it catches up and I'll fall asleep anywhere between 6pm and 8pm, then not wake up until 3am. Then it's all out of goose. |

I dunno if they have that in the states. Usually the only NyQuil substitute is NyQuil. I can never find a generic brand of it. So I stick with the DPH (benadryl). |
