The final blow to the barrier landed upon its surface, shattering it like glass, only lighter and in a gaseous form. The wind, now free from its deploring duty against those that were trying to break the chain that was on itself and the one chaining it, calmed and drifted in a light breeze around the academy. Most of the destruction and chaos died down as well. A luminous moon finally revealed itself, and its glow seemed to signal peace, despite the last hardships of war. Any signs of tornados, wind storms, whirlwinds -- all of these upsetting, elemental threats had vanished from the air.

Then, just as the bells of serenity rang out across the academy, passionate red petals swirled around the sky. They had the appearance of a withering rose, yet something seemed...off about them. As they grew closer to the ground, they lost form and become a lighter shade of red. Then, they landed on the ground, splattering and combusting into an unidentifiable shape. The more they fell, the easier it became to figure out what they truly were: droplets -- or rather, hail comprised of blood. Almost a split second later came the body of Niola, which held more blood clinging to her tattered body. Of all the places where the dark crimson liquid seeped from, Niola's stomach seemed to be the most damaged. A large scar ran along it, as well as stitches of cuts trailing all the way to her heart. Parts of her face was butchered, specifically her right cheek, some scratches to the left of her lip, and some injuries to her forehead. Something must have been wrong with her eyes as well, for they released tears of blood, which hovered like tiny rubies in the night sky. Just like Niola's melody, the condition of her body was both grotesque, yet beautiful at the same time.
