But just one problem. I can't fill in the details
I have exactly how I want the game to go, how it transitions to the next part, and how the entire series ends written out in my head and on pencil and paper. However, I can't fill in how I should work some of the game's mechanics.For now I just need help on the first game in the series. This is the start of everything and I'm intending to give it a lot of plotline development, but I still want it to be exciting so people continue to play through the entire series. And that's my problem, the series' name is The Trials, and the first game's name is "The Trial of Life". It's meant to be puzzle and thriller orientated. So what I need is a good number of ideas for puzzles, quizzes, or similar things that fit the following guidelines: 1. Does not require an inventory system (the engine I'm using doesn't have one yet, and I'm not going to script one for it -.- possibly by the second game though) 2. Fits the horror/survival/mindshock genre 3. Has an element to it that scares the player or makes the puzzle intense, something to hook them into it 4. Fits into the central theme of the first game, which is protecting life Any and all ideas will be greatly appreciated, and if I get some really good ideas and inspiration I'll put the bearer's name in the credits
