They don't exist, or if they do, they're doing nothing that detracts from my life. Nor can I forsee them doing so.
If they do, I'll discuss this at that time. Until then, everyone who spends their time talking about this stuff, usually with Luke Skywalker syndrome, is simply wasting their time and trying to seem enlightened. |

I think of it as a possibility. I wouldn't doubt it if there was some sort of secret society of people bent on controlling the world. It's entirely possible for them to exist in a world where the general public doesn't even believe in the slightest chance of it being true due to all the fiction we have.
What's really interesting is how people can believe in the odds of other things being true compared to this. Literally have sat down with people and been like "Life on other planets?" "oh sure, could be" "God is real?" "Oh yeah most certainly" "Secret organizations made by man?" "Wtf? You're stupid" Really? I guess so *shrug*. I think about it like this, I've played tactical games such as Final Fantasy Tactics Hoshigami and Disgaea. I've seen times when I've had a 99% chance of hitting an enemy and effing missed. Do you know how infuriating it is to miss with a 99% chance? Talk about nerd rage, I wanted to toss the game disc at the wall. No I don't fully believe in them and they do say, statistically, that like over 95% of all conspiracies are false. Okay what about those other 5% then? People win the lottery, in more ways than one.

Ugh, I have a friend who is all into this shit. NWO, chem trails, don't drink the tap water because of fluoride...
Its so ironic, because all the while he is worried about government mind control, hes completely addicted to prescription pills. If you ask ME, thats the government mind ****ing control right there! *facepalm* That said, meh. I do believe its possible, I just don't care enough to read into it. Sure if I did I would be "educated" about all the shit that is supposedly going on, but that would just give me like a million more things to worry about in the world. The real reason I don't care at all is because conspiracy people are just like every other group of people. All they really do is hide behind desks and shoot out copy-pasta propaganda that they've barely researched and get all offended when you prove them wrong with solid facts. IF they were actually doing something (gathering, planning, revolting, etc) I'd help them out. Shit, I'd love to go throw a few bricks through a banks window and burn down city hall. But they don't, because they're pussies just like every other group out there. Get something done and watch the retaliation. If the illuminati is as powerful as you all say, we will all know. And if there was a super group out there controlling all of us...do you really think they'd constantly slip up? Do you really think they'd leave us clues on the back of dollar bills and hide messages in the news accidentally revealing themselves? No. |

But at the same time, the sad part is, they probably could and no one will still believe it and maybe that's the whole point. What exactly would it take for you guys to believe? Why is it so difficult to believe in this compared to all the other things left unsupported by fact and science that we believe in on a daily basis? I ask myself the same questions.

It exists.
and the funniest part is people get real serious when speaking about illuminati, saying omg they're behind all conspiracys, they are trying to rule the world blah blah blah. They are a grouping of master masons, real as can be, and control the media to de-sensitize the 90% majority of bufoons; who will sit here reading this thinking I am a dumb ***. Hey it works, they have people believing anything you are told or shown on the "news" - because it's such a legit source right? Last edited by MikeyG; 01-11-2011 at 03:10 PM. |

the Illuminati are constantly rewriting history
to serve their own goals. For instance, modern schoolchildren are taught that there is no historical evidence of Eris or King Arthur, and they learn nothing about the Russo-German War or the state of Arcadia. The next time you spend too much money to buy something you didn't want or need, and it breaks in a week, you can be sure you've just contributed to an Illuminati fund-raising project.
