I want to play Vindictus but I need to be positive that I can run it. On the system requirements it says that I need a GeForce 5xxx card to be able to run it at minimum settings, but I'm not sure if my ATi Radeon 9200 is good enough? I meet all requirements, not sure about the card though.
Yes, I know it's a crappy card.

IIRC, the radeon 9000 series is the answer on nvidia 6000 series.

Vindictus is free anyways so it doesn't hurt downloading and trying it out.

Since I don't know about your card go to this website and click on the drop down menu and look for Vindictus;

Its not the most accurate but it will give you a general idea on weather you can run the game

You may be able to run it with that card since Vindictus is based upon the source engine and that card was out around the same time that Half-Life 2 (first game to use the source engine) was released. So on lower settings you should be fine.

Hi, i have the exact same card as you and i'm getting the same error (shade thingy) when i try to choose my character

have you figured out how to fix this problem? Or is it really the card?

Same. After I choose my character the game shuts down and I get that error.

It really sucks. I played Vindictus over at a friends house today and I really enjoyed it. Gotta get myself a new computer, or just upgrade it.

Okay, so that error doesn't have to do with pixel shader or anything? :\ I only have PS 1.4, idk if that's enough to run Vindictus though.

edit; Okay, it seems like the shaderpix error is because of the character customization. I made a character at a friends house earlier today, and I just redownloaded Vindictus and I can play on the character I made, the only problem is that I can't see my character in game, I can only see the face, but the face is white and it looks like a spider web, and I can't see half the monsters. I can only see those dogs in the first few missions, and for the other monsters, I just see a shadow.

Is there a fix for this? I don't really like being a face fighting a bunch of shadows.

Dude...Pixel Shader 1.4? Give it up, you need a 3.0 Pixel Shader to run Vindictus
