Well first I am not a hardcore gamer that needs to maximize resolution settings, run AA x8+ or set all my graphical settings to very high.
Second I planning to run windows 7 64 bit home premium. Things I usually do on my computer. 1. Open a lot of tabs on firefox. 2. Watch a lot of youtube videos. 3. Play some occasionally mainstream games. 4. Photoshop and occasionally video edit a little. Need to think of more heh. |

Watching a lot of youtube videos doesn't affect your ram directly, unless you open 30 of them at thesame time.
A lot of tabs affects performance, afaik you really only should have trouble with IE. Most gaming build still have 4gbs of ram today, so there's no reason to buy additional ram. Mainstream photoshop doesn't take that much ram either and neither does the occasional video edit. Thus, there's no real direct need to change.

Obviously, too much ram affects your FPS in a bad way too. :/
