None of what Runwiththelight said is true.
He's basing it off the animated movie. Like I said, people watch a cartoon and suddenly think they know things, but Heaven forbid I say that. Iron Man, Ant-Man, Thor and Hulk are among the founding members. Captain America didn't have any association with the team until issue #4 and after. He wasn't the founding or first of anything to do with The Avengers. He's an older character by just over 20 years (1941 was his first appearance, The Avengers #1 came out in 1963), but he wasn't a part of their formation. |
