Hi guys~
Yey for my first thread!! Lol ![]() Er, I dunno if I'm in the right section. But I was browsing over the list of online games that are available at the moment and I came across this one. Cardmon Hero: http://cardmon.t3fun.com/Home/Home.aspx Meh. So has anyone of you already tried that game? It appealed to me mainly because I love card games (*cough* Yu-Gi-Oh *cough*). Lol. ![]() I was planning to try it out but I want to ask some opinions first~ Thanks~

I was able to try it last night before I went to sleep, and IT ROCKS!!
It's cute-sy (reminds me of Rose/Flyff), so its kinda cool to the eyes. You can fight w/o cards though, much like the normal MMORPG games. However, the ability to summon the cards that you can retrieve from the monsters and have them fight for you or buff you is a fresh new feature for me! So far, I'm liking it! Haha xD |

I respectfully disagree with the community holding that Cardmon is a good game.
I played it for the past 2 days. I am normally a fan of fantasy card games, tried out dozens in my life. Normally a fan of RPGs too. However, Cardmon proved to be quite a disappointment. 1) Linear grinding. Every zone was the same structure: a Path with NPCs + monsters on the side. No depth at all to zones or exploration. None. 2) Quests: Every one I had involved killing a monster, or killing one for an item, or going to an instance to kill a boss. 3) Linear card use. I thought the cards would level up like heroes do: you decide between classes for monsters and such. Nope. If they level they just get stronger. 4) Very "5th grader" themed. Your outfits to start with are "school clothes." An undercurrent of religious themes flows in this game too. 5) No strategy. Just attack, spam card monsters, and move on. Yeah you can PvP to attack some cows or do a snowball fight, but these options are cool for like 5 minutes, then boring Any pluses? 1) Bright graphics I played a mage for 7 hours, got to level 12. OMG the game's different at level 30: no it's not, it's a lot more grinding. 3/10 for effort. |
