Today I upgraded from an XFX 8800GTS Alpha Dog Edition to an XFX HD5670 1GB GDDR5 and every game I play at high resolution and high settings give me a very ****ed up FPS now. Anyone know why this may be?
Here's some of my specs: AMD Athlon 7750 Dual Core 2.7 GHz Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit 8GB RAM Blue Storm II 500 Watt |

The HD5670 is not only a negligible tad slower than the 8800gts g92 version, but also has shittier drivers! Anyways, it's either bottlenecked or bad drivers, which could include a rather bad removal of the nvidia drivers. Try with a clean install of your OS (if you don't want to reformat, try dualbooting or with a second hdd if you have one).

The 8800 GTS is broken >.> And I got this one cheap...
Btw, I have the G80 version of the 8800 GTS Edit: Sending the HD5670 back... A friend of mine still has a graphics card that I can have for a while till I get a new card myself, so what would you recommend me? I guess when it comes to asking for a recommendation I can just wait till I end up in my grave
