I thought of everything that's come before (handheld or otherwise) that was supposed to take Nintendo down and subsequently failed. I looked at Nintendo's track record and its current standings in the grand scheme of things. I then formulated my hypothesis and stated my conclusion. If you had done similarly, you would have gotten to the same end.

I came to my conclusion just as intelligently because instead of going "omgahh Nintendo will always be king no matter what they put out!11oneoneeleven" I actually compared both the 3Ds and the NGP and realized that the NGP is better in every way possible except for maybe 3D, which personally I think is just a gimmick.

the NGP has such a higher ceiling in every way possible, just look at the specs between the two.
I prefer to look at an items potential due to overall capability, not which company has a history of being more popular.

Alright, alright, I won't argue that they've lost some money, but Nintendo is still on top and will continue to be for a while longer. When the 3DS launches people are going to eat that shit up like Nintendo were Willy Wonka and their handhelds were made of chocolaty-sugary goodness.

Nope. Shit's going to cost so much you'll have to re-mortgage your house. It'll sell but there's no way it'll top the DS.
