Default First timer. [Signature]

Ok, so I got some time off and tried this with paint.net.

I know, it looks very amateurish and I just wanna know some ways I can improve on. [I've went through most of the guides and tutorials on the website Hannah linked me to <3]

The second one(I darkened it a little) was made in hope that it'll look better.. But I can't really tell.

Yeah, It was made into 500x300 since I didn't realised I still had the "Maintain ratio size" checked.

I'll do the resize later since I just got up.

no appeal to it. read guides for about 3-5 hours before even starting a sig. look for a nice stock/render for a nice 30-45 minutes. spend at least 2-3 hours on a sig before posting it.

those are all guidelines and usually my time on a sig so if you want you can cut them down a bit as I tend to take tags seriously.

Thanks for your input Kluey.

I've read all the guides, but I can't seem to utilize them completely ;/
Oh well, time to keep trying!

Edit; Is there a website dedicated to texture packs? I can't seem to find one.

Also, you should really work on the focus. It should always be manually set. If you want the focus to be the girl's face, change the signature so it is.

Dodge, burn tool are good for this.

when resizing press ctrl + t; drag one of the corners down while holding shift, it keeps the integrity ratio of the stock.

Thank you Serix! I'm currently working on another one. Going to take my time and integrate all the things I've learned so far.
