If you're not talking about Vindictus you must have seen some obscure Korean MMO or maybe it wasnt an mmo all. Vindictus is the only thing that comes close to waht you described. Maybe you're just mistaken about it not being the same game. Do you have any other details you can add. What was happening in the trailer and pictures you saw?

I cant even think of any MMOs besides Vindictus that have real time tearing/breaking clothes.

As you say i might be mistaken and its not a mmo and only RPG (its and rpg, that I'm certain). The only think I can remember more about it is that the graphics (mostly the environment) reminded me of Oblivion (and a little Aion).
