My fiance and I are looking for a game we can play as a couple. We wouldn't mind joining a party but if we can't find one we would like a game we could also solo. We currently play Guild Wars and it's getting a little tiring. Nothing major has been added in the game in quite some time and I think we will wait 'til Guild Wars 2 to be released. Does anybody have any suggestions for a game? We tried WoW and wasn't that impressed. We don't mind P2P games as long as the content is worth the monthly payments. Thanks in advanced.

I mean, it seems like your criteria are 1) good game and 2) couple friendly. You need to be more specific.
Lots of games have co-op: WoW, LoTR, Cardmon Hero, League of Legends, and good is subjective (Cardmon may be fantastic for one person, and utterly horrible for a poster like me, because of grinding. See my other posts for more info.) League of Legends from what I hear is fantastic if you have a good teammate, ie couple friendly. LoTR has a rich world of stuff to do. Otherwise, try flash games. Seriously. The "Family Feud" flash game and text twist are ones I play with my girl, she's not really into gaming if you can tell, but we have an awesome time just figuring out stuff to write down and laugh at the survey says responses. |

I have those listed as the only criteria 'cause we're really open to anything. We tried WoW the only problem is we can't always play alone. We to to about level 45 and having to wait 10+ minutes to get into Battlegrounds or doing a instance. We really want something where if we can't find a party in a few minutes we can run off and do it on our own. We're playing League of Legends right now which is a great PvP oriented game, only one problem. She's more into PvE aspect of games and keeping a true RPG character. She's not into picking a champion or hero and fighting in a small dungeon like LoL or Bloodline Champions. We will try LoTR and Ragnarok. Thanks for the help.

Altitude is kinda fun for two friends because you can co-operate in "Base vs. Base" mode, where a team of 8 players has to assign one member to carry a "bomb" to the enemy base. But if you fly too high above the enemy then your plane "stalls" and you lose momentum... The point is to snipe-down plane who is carrying the other team's bomb - but here is where the teamwork comes in - you can "catch" your team's bomb if a player drops it, and continue the mission... You can also intercept enemy planes if you are good enough. I liked it for the realistic physics and because I got better than everybody else.

Maybe unrelated, maybe related - try renting Castle In The Sky. It's just nice in general. Here are two more nice videos: Wear your seatbelt Savin' Me Starcraft - SCV Love Song Pantene Why I Chose Yale But yeah... I wish Alicia Online was released in North America
