Dr. Ryans Recording 1: Hello, This is my first day down here. Uh well a uh satellite fell from the sky. It was taken into a town by two kids. They opened it, and well... something in it killed them. *sigh* It was some sort of disease. It has been named Andromeda. I and the four other scientists are in this uh bunker to find a cure.

Dr. Ryans Recording 5: ... This thing, Andromeda, seems to be unaffected by anything. But that's not all. We have reports that it has broken out of the quarantine zone... It has mutated that fast. When it was only in the town it could only affect humans but now it affects animals too. But it only gets to them through direct contact. And it would appear that Andromeda is not air born. Uhh Andromeda uh it seems to drive some people crazy till they kill themselves. Jesus. We are going to nuke the town so that this doesn't happen again.

Dr. Ryans Recording 6: ... *crash of glass* Dimmit! Andromeda eats radiation. When the nuke hit it just grew... But something weird happened. We found out just before the nuke hit and we told them not to drop it. Things were going well and then Andromeda mutated into a harmless form that can eat some plastics. Not the ones we use in hazmats, but the plastic used in the cockpit re-breather. The plane crashed and somehow the bomb was reactivated. *sigh* I can’t explain it. Andromeda mutated and is now air born. It is only a matter of time before it spreads across the world.

Dr. Ryans Recording 8: We have finally been given some answers. The government sent this satellite up to examine a wormhole. Something happened up there to the satellite and it fell back to earth. So possibly Andromeda is alien... I know it sounds crazy... Also Andromeda has no DNA and is made of sulfur polymers. I don't know how that is possible. Life down here has gotten crazy...

Dr. Ryans Recording 11: Alright now I know I am going crazy. Andromeda thinks. We found its killer. Just to make sure we ran another test. It didn't work. No contamination, separate specimens, the only answer is that Andromeda spoke to the others warning them. This thing is the perfect creature. I... I don't know what to do.

Dr. Ryans Recording 13: We found a message within the strain. It tells us what to use to kill it. Also it is in a code from Earth... We believe that Andromeda was sent from the future. They no longer had the cure and they needed us to get it. So now we do and they are just about to spread it and kill Andromeda. It looks like we have succeeded. Time to celebrate. Andromeda will be destroyed at last.

Dr. Davidson Recording 9: For anyone reading this Ryans is dead. There was an accident in the bunker. To try and stop any spread the facility unknowingly went nuclear. I was helping the spreading when i saw from a distance. Andromeda mutated yet again. It decided that it wanted to live longer, because before when the person died it died. Now it can last in the air for a long time, and when it infects someone they go crazy. In most cases they just try to kill or infect anyone who isn't already infected. We must wear our hazmats, gas masks, or whatever there is to keep Andromeda out of our mouths. I am accessing the information center from my home computer. It has been two years since the bunker incident and Andromeda has taken over the world. For anyone out there my house is safe.


Plot: Andromeda is a fast acting disease that is very intelligent. Its infected are crazy and usually just try to kill you. A few are just crazy and just act very bizarre. The land is full of raiders, gangs, and cabals too. Everyone who isn't infected has to wear a gas mask. It is cool to make a cabal or gang or whatever you like, but not raiders. The raiders is a gang itself. You can also be a free person. Some houses have been sealed and are safe to take your mask or whatnot off.

Setting: This is sometime in the future. There are a few futuristic things. But it isn't that far into the future. laser rifles and laser pistols exist but they are not the best and they are hard to find. This takes place on the East coast of America near Washington.

Personality: he still remembers his friends and has nightmares. He is always depressed.
Appearance: He has a yellow armored Hazmat suit
Job before incident: He was a scientist and worked with the Andromeda team
Possessions: He has a Glock 45., he has a small armory at his house, he carries a back pack with supplies, and a pack of cigarettes, a mini uzi gun in his bag
History: He was picked up by the government to work on the Andromeda. He was forced to leave his daughter. Then Andromeda broke out across the world and he lost touch with her.

He created good friendships with the Andromeda team and when they were all killed he became depressed. He was watched everyone with him fall to the Andromeda and he has devoted himself to finding a way to kill it and/or at least make the world right again.

Andromeda: Andromeda is very intelligent. It caused the plane caring the bomb to crash so it could get the radiation to grow because it knew that the pilot was no longer going to drop it. After the facility blew up it got a lot of radiation. With all that radiation it became air born. It also mutates rapidly and easily when it needs to. After all the mutations it has undergone it can travel by air and infect humans simply by breathing in non-purified air, but can also be contracted by close contact and trading of bodily fluids like blood and saliva. Animals cannot contract the air version but they can contract the contact version. Animals with Andromeda will go crazy and attack people. The type of Andromeda that eats some plastics and messes with electronics is air born but it does not infect people. Andromeda has not mutated since it went air born because it has not been threatened yet. Through vibrations Andromeda can talk to the rest of it so if one piece gets threatened it can warn the rest so that it can change to be resilient to whatever that threat is. Any safe house has to be completely sealed off from the outside. One last thing is that Andromeda does not infect food or water so eating anything in the world is okay, and if you kill an animal and cook it then Andromeda will be dead and not be able to infect you. I think that about covers it. Also while the town was under quarantine it spread too other places by contact of animals.
Three Types
1) Close contact: infects all species through bodily liquids or any sort of cough that is breathed in can infect you
2) Air born: infects only humans, simply breath in unpurified air and your infected
3) Plastic Eater: deteriorates plastics, not communicable between any species, however it does open up path ways for the air born

I am making two new people who will also be at the house. The house is really big and has a small underground bunker so there will be a few other people there.

Appearance: He is tall black, muscular, and bald. He has a rough shave. He wears his SWAT suit. His gas mask is a helmet and mask standard issue combo
Job before incident: He was a SWAT sergeant
Possessions: He has a SMG II, a barretta M9, and a police baton
History: Before the information about the Andromeda was released he was sent on a raid. His entire team was killed by crazies. Jack saved his life and brought him back to his house. He feels as if he now owes a life debt too Jack.

Personality: He has a great since of humor and always tries to keep the mood up
Appearance: He is shorter than the other two and has blond purposefully messy hair. He wears jeans and a white tee. Sometimes he wears a wool. His gas mask is a standard issue one like Max's
Job before incident: He was a Radio host
Possessions: He has a 9m automatic Barretta and a switchblade
History: His radio room was attacked early on and he ran. He ran and ran. When he found the safe house he was dirty and sad. Jack helped revive him and after that he set up a new radio station in the safe house. From it he broadcasts information and help for everyone out there. The radio station he set up in Jack’s house is called the Pure Earth Radio.

Personality: He has a soft side for younger people, hes tough when come to fighting others when hurting his friends, he can take a bullet.

Appearance: He wears a old torn brown hoodie on his back and his hood is pulled up and never takes his mask off so no one can see his face he has an old US Marine book bag on his bag that was once his brother.

Job before incident: Eli was a commander for the U.S. Army. He commanded a squad of 4(including himself) Eli, Brock, Rachet, and Cody. Also they are his brothers.

Possessions: He uses an TMP for a primary sub machine gun on his right side, spas 12 as primary shotgun on his back and a M9 for a secondary handgun ons is left side and a a nice large machete on his back.

History: Before Andromeda happened Eli was a brother of 4. All of his brothers were in the same squad as him, Eli was the leader. He did anything to keep em safe but, when Andromeda came all hell broke lose. Him and his brothers were seperated. He swore from that day he would find his brothers or, there dog tags, if so. Eli now roams Washington by himself looking for his brothers or a cure for this disaster. He has already searched Oregon and found no body. He had one follower but died in a incendent he doesnt like to talk about. He hopes of find a new civilazation or to create one in Washington and restore the USA capital.

Personality: Mark is a very optimistic person, and refuses to believe that the glass is half-empty. The Andromeda Strain has bummed him down a bit, but even in the worst of situations Mark can smile.
Appearance: He also has a gas mask and a hazmat suit, both standard issue, he rarely wears his sunglasses.
Job before incident: [Classified]
Possessions: A pair of sunglasses, a Desert Eagle, a Stiletto, and a small bag filled with food and water.
History: Mark was a government operative, and what he did is classified, but it is known that he was the one that went and got Jack Davidson for the Andromeda team. He is currently wandering in search of a safe house.
