An oldie but goodie! ive tried twice back when i was active before and i figured id give it another go

The Specials

Your running. Your heart is pounding and your pulse is racing. You turn down an alleyway. Your not sure which way to run. All you know is you have to get away, fast. Because they are coming. You don't know who they are. You don't know what they want. You don't even know if your thoughts are you own. What is real and what isn't. All you know is you have to run. You continue down the alleyway, but they are already there. Their suits look out of place in the grimy street and their dark shades and matching sneers are menacing. You cry out, begging for them to stop. To leave you alone. They don't listen. You call for help, trying to run the opposite way. But no one can hear you. No one can see you. No one can help you now.

When you wake up, there is a blinding light. You are dressed in hospital robes and there are tubes everywhere. The doctors have on masks and are injecting you with something. You have no idea what. All you can feel is the burning. It starts in your arm and moves through your veins, incinerating your insides until you can feel the flames licking every inch of your skin. You beg for the pain to go away. It only gets worse. You wake up to find yourself in a room. You are give a bed. A uniform. An id number. A new life. They say welcome to the Division. They mean welcome to Hell.

Rules

~you can only have up to 2 characters

~nobody is perfect, so make some flaws, the more the better!!!

~no godmodding, nobody is superstrong and everyone can be defeated, if you attack another play, they decide the outcome

~please let everyone play as themselves, use others to the bare minimum

most important rule, please please please be literate and post more than just a few lines!!! A minimum of 150 words isnt much but please try!

this is an rp about a group of teens who have special powers
they are running from a secret government organization that is trying to build a super army of these specials and destroy all the psychics that wont join them called " The Division"

it is based out of China and Japan, movement from Beijing to Tokyo will happen in the middle of the story, it is part of the plot, you will understand when we get there

The different types of abilities are ...

* Movers can manipulate inanimate objects at varying distances. The actual technique is known as kinetic signature control, where the mover is trained to "hear" and identify the specific atomic frequency of any given material, and alter the gravity wave around it, usually producing the nearby air to appear "warped". Advanced movers can work at the molecular level creating protective shields in the air around them. This is basically telekinesis.

* Pushers can "push" specific thoughts, memories, and even emotions into their targets. This technique can be used to gain a subject's trust, or to have them perform any action, thinking it was their own agenda.

* Watchers are trained to self-induce visions of the future, very much like a prolonged sense of déjà vu. The technique of following the future, either of a person or object, is called subject tracking. A Watcher's skill is primarily rated by how far they can see into the future.

* Bleeders have the ability to emit high-pitched sonic vibrations that cause ruptures in a target's blood vessels. This can knock you someone unconscious or even destroy someone.

* Sniffs are highly developed clairvoyants who can track the location of either people or objects over varying distances. Like psychic bloodhounds, their tracking ability is increased if they have tactile access to an object that has been in direct contact with the subject. Sniffs receive information based on images, not specific addresses, which is why identifiable landmarks help increase their effectiveness.

* Shifters can temporarily shift patterns of light on any object to create illusions to the naked eye. They work mostly on a touch basis, but once the illusion is established, it remains with the object for short periods of time. For example, a Shifter could momentarily touch a one dollar bill, altering its light pattern to appear as a one hundred dollar bill for hours, until the effect expires. The length of the shift is based on experience and ability.

* Wipers are skilled at either temporary or permanent memory erasure, an invaluable asset in espionage. Experience will dictate the accuracy of their wipes, though the danger is always present that they will eliminate a desired memory.

* Shadows are trained to block the vision of other clairvoyants such as Sniffs, making any subject within their target radius appear "dark". Experience will enhance the size of the area they can shadow and the intensity of their shielding effect. Shadows need to be awake to perform their ability, and it is common for a detail of two Shadows to operate in shifts while protecting a person or object for extended periods.

* Stitchers are psychic surgeons trained to quickly reconstruct cells to their previous or healthy state. Using only their hands, they can heal and even "unheal" whatever they have done. For more detailed work, Stitches use a silver based cream on their hands which acts as a conductor to their ability.

* Blockers are unaffected by other psychics, although not entirely. Most can only block when concentrating. At high levels, they are trained to disarm others powers that are around them and shield others. If trained well, this shield can expand for miles.

*Jumpers are most like nightcrawler or spectre from x-men is the best description. They can move through walls, buildings, or just around in a set area. They must see or know where they are going but they can "warp" or "teleport" to that place. Most can move within a block radius but at higher levels they may move up to a few miles.

*Leeches have the ability to draw and absorb the energy around you and convert the energy into any bladed weapon. This blade is visible to all and can deflect projectiles depending on the strength of the blade. With the more energy absorbed, the blade becomes stronger. One with this ability can activate it while in an environment without energy around them by using their own energy. This can tire an individual, but is very useful in combat.

*Ghosts feed off of others energy. They can sap your energy, destroy it, or even steal it if they are weak. They can drain you emotions and enjoy causing pain to others. At high levels they can even feed off of your soul and eat away at your morals.

*Paradoxes have the ability to induce the opposite of nearly any effect. One with this ability could jump off a building and instead of breaking something (or dying) they would be fortified against breaking limbs, or any already-broken bones that the user lands on would be healed. One with this ability could hold fire to a burn wound and the wound would be healed instead of worse damaged, and the like. One with this ability could even cause injuries to feel good or normally-pleasurable things to be extremely painful, and the like. This ability may be accompanied by Power Reversal or the ability to reverse some other process/effect. This is the hardest to control. One false move to try and heal yourself and you could end up dieing. This is the hardest to train.

Kat is slightly over average height, a slim, athletic build. She has lean muscles and very good strength. She is average weight with long stark blonde hair and sapphire colored eyes. She has distinct, sharp features and a nearly symmetrical face. She has full lips, a slim waist, natural hips and bust. Her straight blonde locks are full, sweeping down to the middle of her back, covering her serial bar code tatooed on the back of her neck, one like many of the other Division labrats. She has a slight tan and a few scars in random places on her body. Most are fading away just in time to earn a new one.
power/ability- level 2 pusher and still developing
Weapon- A blade that she keeps in her boot. Smaller then a kitchen knife, larger then a pocket knife. She haggled it from some black market street vendor for a stolen wristwatch and a pair of sneakers.
personality- Kat is more cynical then most girls her age. She tends to overanalyze things and can over think every step. She is serious, frugal, and believes in strong morals. Intelligent and strong willed, she can often be pigheaded and bluntly honest. She tends to offend more often then make friends and doesn't believe in love.
history/bio- Katrina was one of the first to be "helped" by The Division, if you can call constant tormenting, injections, training, beating, and near death help. She was captured ( well given to The Division by her parents who were killed by The Division because they found out too much ) and tested on trying to harness powers for their cause ( now she gets terrible headaches ), but escaped. She is now hiding out in the city, she tries to find other specials and help them escape The Division while developing their powers. Well, technically she hasn't escaped yet, but today is the day.
other- Katrina seems like an average teenager. Slightly above average height. Average weight and shoe size. But looks can be deceiving. Despite her sweet seeming exterior, her insides are rough. She is cold hearted at times, analytical, and puts herself first unless she truely cares for the person. Despite her "cute" look, she is anything but. Her muscle capacity is high above average as is her lung capacity and endurance. She can take more hits then most males her age and is no noob to pain. She once removed a bullet from her own side back when she was still brainwashed by the Division.

appearance - 6'0, about 165, skinny, but with muscles. He has short to medium brown hair with brown eyes. He is tan. He wears blue torn jeans, has a white undershirt under a black hoodie. He wears black converse shoes to. Has a scar under his right eye.
power/ability- jumper level 2 still developing.
weapon of choice- a pocket knife he kept with him.
personality- he isn't the smartest, but has street smarts. He is very resourceful. He is also charming, but is sometimes to trusting. He also makes very stupid decisions sometime, just spontaneous sometimes.
history/bio- Mike was able to use his powers pretty well before he was captured. He used them for personal gain, he knew i he couldnt be caught what was the point of obeying rules. He was captured by "the division" one day. They barely caught him, at least he gave them a chase. When he awoke he was in a bed with a sharp pain in his veins, and doctors all around. He tried to jump but he couldn't focus enough to get anywhere, and he passed out again. He woke up in a bed this time in a room all alone. He wanted to jump, but where to, he had no idea where he was, or where he could go.
other- He has dogtags around his neck that belonged to his father. They aren't from the military though, he has no idea where he served. He never met his dad, but feels he isn't dead, and wants to find him.

Stands at 6'1, weighing 141 lbs., light gray hair and hazel colored eyes. Jason wears a gray hat, brown dress shirt with his bare chest exposed, slightly faded blue straight legs, and brown nike hightops.
power/ability- level 2 mover
weapon of choice- (Minus the huge twin claws)
personality- Jason is normally a trouble maker, looking for an excuse to land a right hook across someone's jaw. Being so, people misunderstand Jason and automatically keep their distance away from him, leaving him with no one to talk to.
history/bio- Jason grew up in a rough neighborhood where sirens were his lullaby music and gunshots were his alarm clock. It's no wonder he turned out the way he is now, prone to violence and ready to defend himself. It wasn't until he was 14 that he discovered his gift, when he got mixed up with a bad crowd. He and a few people he was acquainted with were meeting up at someone's house when a car drove by, windows rolled down and guns pointing straight at them. Jason saw the car before the rest of the people did and automatically started running. He was able to turn the corner before the car began to chase him. Watching behind him, Jason didn't see the tipped over trash can and tripped over it, falling face forward on the pavement. As the car stopped next to him, a man stepped out of the car, gun raised, and smiled at him. Jason raised his hands and wanted nothing more than for someone to help him. Wishing he could throw the trash can at the man, Jason watch as the object he desired rose a few inches off of the ground and struck the man in the head. Jason stared at disbelief as the man fell, unconscious, to the floor and the car driving off. Slowly, Jason regained his senses, only to have a shadow of a grin creep onto his face.

History/bio: Carren was born a son of one of the cheifs of the yakuza when his father was assasinated by them he took over the his fathers place in the organization and during a job they were hit by a police raid and he was labled as the tattletale and got brought in by the yakuza bosses men he got pushed of the roof of a ten story building and he he did'nt die and so found out he had his ability it was pure luck this time but he was a lucky guy but now he was running from the yakuza and the Division's men ((but he didn't know they worked for the Division)) that look like they had no personality. and then the last time he was running he had found the yakuza and the Division so he jumped of a ten story office building and then found that the Division must have expected that and were waiting for him then they knocked him out

She prefers to use/make two swords. one in each hand. They are usually thin and almost identical.

personality- slow to trust people and has a habit to make decisions without consulting others. She is quite independant but very intelligent. Always plans ahead.

history/bio-
She never knew her parents and lived in the streets for a while. She was finally adopted by a rude man who used to hit her so she ran away. She has been kdnapped twice therefore, she doesn't trust anymore. Rin only had one friend, a stray tabby cat she found, nosing through the rude man's garbage. She discovered her power when the same man who adopted her found the tabby, was enraged by the thought of a disgusting, ugly cat was touching his stuff. He tried to drown it but Rin panicked and and used her power. When the shock had faded, she realised she had killed him.
