It's the year 2900. More than 75% of the human population has died off. The gates of heaven and hell have been open for 888 years allowing angels and demons to come and go as they please.

There is an island in the middle of the chaotic sea. Surrounding this island is a wall crafted from the strongest stones known to existence. Withing the wall is a Forest containing creatures that would cause The evil one and the Creator alike to run in fear for not even they could protect themselves against the awful twisted ways of the creatures. And in the middle of this forest is a temple forged from the corpses of the highest of angels and the lowest of demons. And inside that temple... is a stone statue no bigger than the average individual. The statue holds a tablet out in front of it.
There was only ONE who made it to that wall. Only ONE who made it past those creatures. Only ONE to read that tablet. Only ONE to make it back to there home and speak of the writing on the tablet. That ONE died 100 years ago to this day. There last words of that ONE still haunt the acid layered air we breathe.

Race's

High-Wing : The greatest of all angels. gifted with speed, strength, flight and the ability to bring the dead back to life.

Guardian Angel : They pick and choose a Human to watch over and Protect. They Keep anything evil far away from there Host. If they do not have a human within a 5 day period then they become human.

Angel : They can not fly due to the lack of wings. Angels can heal the most critical wounds in seconds and have the ability to grant one wish. Once the wish is granted the angel dies and it's existence is forgotten.

Human : There not very strong or fast but sometimes it is nice to just be a normal regular human.

Half-Blood : Half blood's are half demons. There father is a demon but there mother is human. They are faster and stronger then normal humans and generally have a tail or small horns.

Demon : Deadly creatures that are faster then the eye can can comprehend and stronger then the high-wings can take. The more humans they eat the more powerful they become.

Vampire : just as fast as half-bloods and strong enough to toss humans around like cans of soup. They must constantly feed on human blood to survive. They can transform into clouds of smoke, wolfs or bats.

Zombie : humans that never die. the more they eat the more they evolve. at low levels they are slow and pathetic but at higher levels and forms they are deadly. They have been known to make demons look like pathetic weak critters when at the higher levels.

Experiment : They appear human. faster and stronger than any demon. 6 hearts. massive lungs. There weight is around 700 Ib's yet they look no taller or fatter then a regular human. there muscle mass takes up most of there weight. They make everything else seem like play toys.

Guru : They can transform into any animal or object they want. They can control the minds of anything that has a mind.

Kai : They have the power to make anything they touch explode or die. at there command

(Now, I don't know exactly what you had in mind for the Experiments by reading the description, but this is sort of how I interpreted it. So let me know if I need to change something.)

Appearance- The male standing at about 6'3 with pale features. His hair, what people could see of it, was a onyx color, and was usually covered by a dark colored hood. On his lower body, he wore black cargo shorts, with chains around his waist, and his sides. Some of the chains hung lower than the rest. On his feet were black running sneakers, with red tread, and a red streak down each side.
Race- Demon
Current scenario- Wandering around the streets looking like he was looking for a job. A former war veteran, he used his skills to blend in with the rest of the humans, and tried his best to hide his strength and speed from others.

Race-half high-angel. His mother was a High-Angel and his father was an angel.

Current scenario-doctor. Sonce he is able to heal major wounds easily, he decided to help humans survive. But he is careful so that know one willl realise his real identity/the fact that he is an angel.
