It's all in the idea of practice and preparation. Baseball players go to batting cages/practice with easy pitches before the real game. You go to boot camp and engage in mock war fights before you become a marine, soldier, etc.

Its just something you have to overcome.
just go up to a girl and start a conversation with her tell her your problem and ask her what you can do
to look better so that you can get the girl of your dreams or the girl that
you want.

let's put it that way.

Look at them, when they look back act really hasty, like you didn't even look at them. They'll notice it and think it's adorable. After awhile they should talk to you with comments like 'Why are you looking at me?' or something similar to it. If they start to be angry with you, they won't think your good looking. So this method works only for a person with a bit above average looks.
